Remove the dust cup and empty all debris. Check the lint screen inside the dust cup and clear away buildup. Remove the pre-motor filters and inspect them for dirt. Rinse the foam and felt filters with cold water only. Remove the HEPA filter and rinse it with cold water if needed. Let all filters air-dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling. Detach the hose and check both ends for blockages. Remove the wand and inspect both ends for clogs. Check the handle opening, nozzle opening, and accessory openings for debris. Inspect the brushroll area for hair, string, or carpet fibers. Carefully cut away wrapped debris if needed. Reassemble the vacuum and test suction again. 2.
